When doing research for last year’s “Cheers 2020!” piece I found out what a “Chicago handshake” was. Turns out it’s something you order at a bar - an old man’s beer (like Oldstyle) and a shot of Malört. This pairing was the initial building block when designing this piece. It features a classic Chicago “meal” - 

a slice of deep dish pizza, a couple of doughnuts, and an Oldstyle and Malört

to wash it all down. Mmm.
