If you know me, it’s an absurd idea. Still,

I figured I needed to produce a self portrait

at some point. So why not combine the idea

of self-portraiture with imagery of a religious figure (a common subject of ancient mosaics)? Just don’t tell any of the nuns I had in school about this one.
